Fall Makeup Looks | by Allison Marie

Hey ladies! I don’t know about you, but when life becomes stale with running errands, working, the family, and everything else that everyday life brings, a change always picks me up.  Even the smallest re-invention of myself makes me excited again! Maybe I’ll get a new outfit or I’ll even change my hair cut or color.  Being an aesthetician, I love makeup and I feel I can provoke the same feelings of ‘newness’ with it.

If you’re reading this, you’re already a fan of the women behind The Wild Revival. Well, I gave Amanda + Marrissa a makeover this past weekend and arrived at two distinct looks that fit their personalities perfectly.  Keep reading…

First up, we have Amanda! She is an earthy girl who likes a more natural and neutral makeup approach. In light of the change in weather, I chased after a fall-inspired look to pair with a cozy sweater and boots.  I used warm-toned, matte colors on her eyes to achieve an understated look.  I went with rust and burgundy to compliment her brown eyes and hair. Then I used a berry gloss on her lips.  All of these colors make perfect sense with each other, Amanda’s face, and the changing leaves!

Could you love these fall shades anymore?!
The finished look made her brown eyes pop!

For Amanda’s look, I used the following products:
5.       Pure Cosmetic Professional brush set
11.   Urban Decay ‘All Nighter’ finishing spray
12. MAC Pro Blush in Dirty Plum (discontinued)

Next, is Marrissa! Her look is a tad sexy and Carrie Underwood-esque, so we went glam with strip lashes!  I used the NYX eyeshadow trio to make a shimmery copper/brown smokey eye.  This against her skin color, along with Ardell’s false lashes made for a very dramatic look that draws one to her.  I completed her transformation by filling in her eyebrows, outlining her lips and applying a light pink gloss. This look is great for any special event or night out on the town.

The finished look… these shades worked so well together!
Products used for Marrissa’s Carrie Underwood-inspired look:

3.       Morphe Vegan Brush Set
7.       NYX Eyeshadow Trio
I really had a lot of fun playing around with these beauties! Their looks were just an enhancement to what was already there!
